yeah, you can’t really define success, it’s different for everyone
That is one blood red tree!
Excellent quote/photo match! That tree looks like its roots have turned to mist.
Beautiful
That is trippy looking!
This one is fascinating.
Might that be manzanita?
oh wow!!:)
that makes me question the very nature of “tree-ness”. whoa.
question… do you take or find these pictures?
“Sir, what is the secret of your success?” “Two words.” “And, sir, what are they?” “Right decisions.” “And how do you make the right decisions?” “One word.” “And, sir, what is it?” “Experience.” “And how do you get experience?” “Two words.” “And, sir, what are they?” “Wrong decisions.” >>Anonymous
Enjoyed the pic…. :goodjob:
Beautiful. This must be a manzanita. When I lived in the hills in AZ we had many manzanita. I fell in love with them. You have captured this one’s spirit – in photo and with words. So please tell me, when you sell your prints, do you also have the quotes somehow on them? And what would this one cost, perhaps, for one manzanita/life lover? Really. Please write to me. ~Paloma
PS Do you see how the base of the trunk appears human, or dryad-ish? Yes, beautiful.
THIS is an interesting composition that for me evokes shades of Eliot Porter… Well done.
wow. that photograph is amazing. :sunny:
that’s an awesome photo… it looks like coral.
:goodjob: very interesting shot. That’s a tree, I suppose, but it looks nothing like the bark I know. I love the mossy rock, too. :heartbeat:
What a beautiful photo. Aren’t the colors in nature surprising sometimes?
Your photograph looks like a painting . A fresh rill flowing at the side of a tree that seems dead but perhaps not .
Michel
 Yep that’s true
Love and :sunny:
Mara:heartbeat::love:
So kind you are. You make me depart on a guilt trip and return with pictures.
I want to touch the tree. It looks so… smoooth.
in moments of tiredness or sadness, you’re quotations are like a beacon of lights. seriously. thanks for posting up your quotes. i really needed today’s.
You are so good at seeing texture. Love the quote.
Your picture reminds me a lot of a look-out point that my sister Alice and I came upon when we were on our Arkansas vacation. I think it was Withrow Springs State Park and we were hiking one of the trails. The Park Ranger failed to tell us how trecherous and steep it was. . . . although it WAS beautiful.
wow… nature never fails to amaze me… its a beauty
you shoot with a coolpix? never would’ve guessed. i shoot most of my photos with a sony cybershot. a dslr would be verrrrrrrry nice.
what do you edit your pics with (crop/resize/whatever)?
i wish it was that easy to unconditionally accept what life brings… practice.. i need more practice!
Okay, I’m accepting of whatever life brings. Now, where’s my succes?!
