got some shots of growth like that in my backyard last spring. just in time, too. the tree stump slowly disintigrated over the summer. just love nature’s little suprises. wish more people knew to look more closely.
The shrimp was delicious and yes, there will be some in the freezer when you come. How many ways do you want it fixed? LOL And does Sherry eat shrimp?
I love the color of this lichen. Looks buttery. No good to eat though,is it??
Mom
Ahhh, I almost too some photos of shelf fungi today (when we were hiking). Instead, I didn’t do much snapping at all.
How very beautiful, Judi
Now I’m thinking about bacon and mushrooms. Mmmmmmmm….
So, guess you were hiking . . . . neat pics
It’s all about observation…what we see when we look close enough…what we see when we take the time to go beyond the surface…the funghi shot is a fantastic example of the power in a repetitive design and the sheer beauty of what we’d probably walk beyond…oh, the art of seeing!!!
Takes more than a pair of eyes to see what beauties you see.
your image tugs at my
photo soul and is
trying to coax me out to shoot..
i needed that.. *wink

where do you find these quotes??? Every one is just right for the beauty you have captured on film. God has blessed you with amazing talent!
I like your photos! quotes are great. This one looks like “chicken of the woods” the edible shelf fungi.
