Jerome lived as a monk, thus must have loved simplicity. The legend of his removal of a thorn from the lion’s paw always intrigued me.
Here in this simple image is shown all the beauty and faith of the early missionaries and their hardships. Think of the trials that were undertaken by the monks, priests and sisters who gave their lives to share their faith.
