I always loved going behind the falls. It’s so mysterious and interesting there… even with all the tourists.

THAT is an awesome shot.
ryc: I’m just vain enough to suffer the consequences on occasion–and do.:fun:
The picture is nice but I bet the sound in that setting was awesome.
Nice xanga you got there!!
I have a picture like that. The photo really doesn’t do it justice, does it? It does remind me of the amazing feeling of standing there behind all that tremendous falling water. :spinning: I also loved the quote.:sunny:
canada! =D i love that shot. i’ve always seen niagara from the commercial viewpoint…aquamarine water, lots of spray, colour & noise. but your shot’s a nice change. like it a lot! very serene.
very nice. :goodjob:
Glad you reposted as I missed the original 2003 post. Wonderful!
Wow I was there… Can I tell you what memories just seeing this picture brought to me? It was with my first husband… we went for a silly little vacation, and that was one of the things we did
I haven’t stopped by here in far too long. I love the picture today. I remember going to Niagra Falls when I was a teenager and walking behind that wall of water. It was amazing to feel like we were inside something so incredibly powerful. I’ve been thinking I need to go back again sometime soon.
How frighteningly awesome to be in that place to take that picture with all that power pounding around you.

There’s something captivating about that photo. It makes me want to stick my head out and see how huge the falls are. Awesome :goodjob:
