The quote sounds as if your Granpa could have said it. He and his brothers really put the beer away when I was a kid. And I really never saw him drunk. Happy maybe, but not drunk. Maybe you get your love of beer from him.

thanks for your comments on my pictures. I hope it looks realistic. I realize the image of the apple is too sharp to have look thrown, but it is really one image. The apple and I (that’s me in the pic) are in a single exposure.

ryc: I didn’t miss LOST tonight, but we’ll be gone next week for the finale … So unless my inlaws watch it, I’ll miss it (unless dh chooses to watch it and asks them if we can… I wouldn’t presume to do so, but I hope he will!)
