Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! I’m at this moment going through a million–really, a million–posters on All Posters online and looking at pieces with this feel and those colors that I can transfer to canvas. The big ass pieces to cover almost an entire wall. My walls are covered with art and I love BIG.
ryc: Glad you enjoyed my Annabelle. Her ‘full’ name is Annabelle Lee after Poe’s poem and her brother is a great big brown and black tabby we call Gus, shortened from his ‘full’ name, Gustav Mahler. And yes, posting pictures of your kitties is kinda hokie(?) but the Haiku demanded it. :spinning:
:heartbeat:  :heartbeat:  I am so happy that it got fixed! YAY! wonderful picture… and oh how this quote is so direct and clear and true.
Hugs and kisses…
D. :littlekiss:
and not only that, but i can actually see your photos!!!!!:goodjob:
this is a nice piece, and I like the quotation with it… I really enjoyed all the work on this “page”… the Maya Angelou quote and photo is great – something about that little building is very pleasing to my aesthetic sensibility. My favorite of the group, and to my mind it looks like a painting, is the deep red toned photo with the Fitzgerald quote….. awesome!
I just love your work!!!
Doris
:heartbeat: My temple has been rather empty for a short while and it is time to refill it with beautiful thoughts and dreams….
My feelings are my god, huh? :p Then I should listen to the little devils, er, I mean gods, then, huh! :fun: :p
Afterthought… your pic and quote tie in eeerily with my morning dream… hmm… maybe they will help me figure it out…
wheeewww! Glad you’re back.
lovely!! Glad it is worked out for ya.:fun:
Okay…that picture looks kind of like a bad acid trip. Ahhh….the wooden heads are after me!
Awesome post for your return! I’m glad you can post again. :heartbeat:
i agree with that statement ~ jack
absolutely correct! I love the photo and I tried to explain that was how I felt to my parents.. heh, they are beyond belief the most stubborn Christian people I know… ah well, as long as I believe in it Lovely and I am so glad you can post again! :sunny:
Welcome back… missed seeing your Vision  ~Paloma
That photograph blurs the line with painting – perhaps it’s the tribal sculpture and the way the green of the leaves and the red float. A sacred picture. I love it. xo
Glad you can share your photos again. Nice quote. The image is not the real.
Glad you’re back. I worked with Janet also to figure out my picture posting problems.
You like the taste of baking soda? Ewww.
:sunny:Welcome back. I like both the photo and the quote. The photo is like a riddle, but the quote is right on. All we have to do is look inside.
:heartbeat::heartbeat:Mom
yay!! and so true words they are.
Your photos are extraordinary. I learn so much from you, just by looking (okay, well more like examining closely) at your photos. Thank you for sharing the beauty.
your soul is the temple, most definitely. glad to have you back! thanks, april
the photo is a puzzle to me…
one i dont mind wondering about…

awesome message in that quote….one I always want to remember…
Ryc: Yeah, the imac is almost always virus free. I have defragged a while back but maybe it is time to back everything up (Ugh) and do it again. I also got the iMac for Graphic Design – I went back to school for it and just graduated last year. Haven’t done much with it as I can’t afford the pay cut currently to take an entry level post. But there’s always something on the go on the side where I can use what I learned. I bet you find it very useful with your photography. Do you edit in Photoshop at all? Your photos often have a dream-like quality to them and I wonder if you enhance that effect with any filters or if it’s all attained at the moment you shoot. Anyway, nice work!
Drew
That is a great photo! And the quote is wonderfully refreshing.
RYC: I heard about his appearance there! I wish I’d seen it!
we thank Jane too…Sassy
Glad your back, you have a great eye. i enjoy looking at your pics
Wow! I guess I haven’t been around xanga in a while. You posted one of my favorites (the red building a couple posts back) and I didn’t even realize! I just love that photograph.
I luuuuuuuuv shrimp. Could eat them all day. I get a craving for crawdads in the spring and summer when they are abundant. We have a crawfish festival in KC each summer.
ryc: I commend your brother for entering the World Of Cat with Ed. I hope they get along famously in their new abode. Nothin’ finer than an abode with a cat–or 2 or 3 or 4.
Yes, I’m glad that Xanga is working and that I can now see everyone’s photos!
