Truer words were never spoken – Ms. Angelou is right as rain. So Cal has cool architecture, it does!
So is this house just for tall skinny people? I love the profile pic!
nice.
beautiful. Maya is brilliant.
Love the new pic of you.
I love how you marry picture and quote.
I like yer new user pic too!
That Maya Angelou is one smart cookie. The building and the lighting are very interesting in your picture! :goodjob:
I’d like to go inside :>):fun:
that is so very true ~ jack
Bike with a banana seat! That rocks!

I like the verticality of this photo. You capture it well.
The gate, stairs, lines of the building, trees, leaf fronds, streetlights in the distance. And just a hint of horizontal line to break it up. And the hazy dark in foreground rising to blue light above makes me want to climb those stairs.
Superb.
Hey, I’ve seen that place before! I’ve driven a few people passed it as well. Its soooo tiny!
That’s kind of sad. Not many people start right.
Great building. Do you know the occupants? Ms. Angelou is pretty cool. I agree that a good beginning makes for a good ending.
And I seriously need a copy of the new profile pic.

:love::heartbeat:
That is a really great shot… and a very interesting building. narrow, but very neat…
and the quote… so very true… many hugs and :littlekiss:’s

how fitting.
I know a lot of small places between things that would love a splinter house. btw – do you know sandy and glen? (aus) They’re getting married sat.! fruitopia_24
i’d be scared to build, i am scared to build, i don’t want to end up wrong…
Ah, now my curiosity is up… I would love to see the inside of this place,
just to see how it’s laid out.
hmm…..suddenly my house feels very fat…. *wink

neat-o
Looks like a painting.
My building could be a little more structurally sound at times, but I’m at least glad it’s interesting.
Wow. What an interesting building and beautiful picture!! Sorry you’re having trouble loading. I love your photos. :whocares:
:nono: I totally disagree with Ms. Angelou — whom I adore, btw. But that sounds like predestination to me, and I believe that you can change the course of your life, if you work on getting to know yourself, and come to understand why you draw certain patterns to you over and over. Granted, if you don’t do the work you will end “wrong”. But if you do the footwork, change is inevitable. Love the picture! Love the house too, it’s so bizarre it’s cute!
That’s an interesting building. :goodjob:
what a cool looking building!
What a curious looking house!
do you ever look at older buildings like this and wonder who all has walked up those stairs? what kind of lives have been led behind that door? it’s a fascination/obsession/whatever of mine. old homes, old warehouses, all that.
I love the effect of the lower portion of this one and the angle of the shot.
