  • A heartfelt thanks to all that visited and congratulated me on my win. I attribute much of my success to
all the friends here at xanga that over the years have supported my artistic endevours. I couldn’t have
    done it without you

  • So glad that they noticed your talent. Love that photo and can see why it won.

  • you’re the one who has the “eye” :goodjob:

  • Look how the door has grown! (Just like you.:) )

(Remember the little midget door in Mtl, one of your first posts?) :)

  • Love those leaves piled up before it.  That tells a lot.  Beautiful pic.

  • Re your comment

  • love this photo here. so undisturbed.

  • Uh, how I adore that picture. It’s almost surreal in some ways. The colors and the cut. A bit like a fairytale door?

I can’t help to wonder, what’s inside (and I am certain my imagination takes me a little out of this world, compared to what’s probably to be found; but then again, your picture takes me there).

I quite like pictures that add to reality, rather than just takes it..

  • How I’d love to push the leaves aside and open that old door!   I’d poke around inside and see what the owners may have left behind.   Then the police would come and make me leave, I suppose.

  • no no, thank YOU for producing such wonderful art.  i am always amazed at the “creative eye” that some of us and some of us don’t.  you are truly blessed with the creative eye. :)

  • As one door closes, another one closes as well!

    You’re Welcome!

I work in photography, and have had a bit of a “photographers block” recently, on my own personal photography taking.

Frejaluna’s photos have kicked me into doing photos for myself again, and your’s have been the extra incentive to ‘get my finger out’ !

    Thank You, both of you.

  • Nice colors.

  • for some reason i thought you stopped posting? weird. anyhow, i’m subscribed again.
also, the photos are from a polaroid 420 land camera that i modified. i haven’t used the holga in a while.

  • :heartbeat:
thank you for the comment… it turned me red, :::smiles:::…

and congratulations on your win! that is so excellent, and so incredibly deserved! and I do believe that was one of your photographs that I had said was my favorites.. so beautiful… I am so happy for you.

    many hugs and kisses…

    D.

  • I wonder what lurks behind that door…

  • the photo is both peaceful and sad to me. i love a picture that creates stories in my head… this one certainly does…  *~matthew~*

  • Congratulations on your win!

  • isn’t that a litle ironic?  emily saying she’d open every door, when we know that she was a recluse who rarely even went outside… interesting ~ jack

  • Re your comment

Thanks, the one I’m working on in the darkroom is actually a lot better. Not going to post that one though.

    I can say I knew you ‘back when’… :)

  • Unidentified smokin’ object.
    That’s funny.

  • I hate whisky.
    I’m a beer/wine kind of girl, too.
I can’t drink very often because of food allergies. Allergic to sugar, hops and an endless list of other goodies, y’know? heh.

  • RYC:heartbeat: happy to help

  • i’m glad you liked my pic. My son and I had fun taking that one.
