  • Or is art the truth that helps us see all the lies?  I am not sure I ever agreed with Picasso on this.

Either way, dear…   this is a fantastic shot.  A female tree…   *cocks head*

    G’night Molly,

    :heartbeat:

  • Super – we have a mutual love for Wayne Dyer’s work. I have known him since he was a college professor and decided to chuck it, get in the car with his family, head to Florida and start writing. He has really changed his views over the years and I think that is good, so have I. What I hate is when people don’t change. If I liked what I wrote 5 years ago I am not growing. Be well

  • That Picasso guy was smart.  But you are a genius for taking that photo.:heartbeat:

  • Very Georgia O’Keefe — especially the color gradiation from top to bottom. Absolutely wonderful.

  • Stunning pieces you have in here – Are they all your own?

  • Dear Molly,

As I mentioned the last time I visited here, (which you probably never saw, since I posted the comment as one of 43 on an entry from Sept.16,) I find your photography not only consistenly magnificent, but I find it artistically stimulating. I admire the beauty and the clarity of the photos, the way they are framed, and the inspiration they exude. I also very much admire your choice of quotations for the captions.

I even asked you if I could use one of your photos in one of my composite artworks, but since you never answered, I’m pretty positive now that you never saw the comment, which I wrote on December 1st, a long while back.

Your SouthLenz website is a treasure to visit  and I get a kick out of the IcePicks.

  • That photo reminds me of the Tule tree in Oaxaca, Mexico…that or a close-up of a cadaver dissection, skin being peeled back and nerves exposed. It’s not gross to me; but then again, I like dead bodies.

    Nice picture.

  • Art can be deceiving.  That is true. :goodjob:

  • Pretty cool. Pablo knew a thing or two didn’t he?

  • Pablo!

So if you aren’t watching the superbowl and you aren’t downloading dylan head-mopped photos and mp3′s, what ARE you doing?

    :)

  • Beautiful!! And so is the new profile pic!! :>)

    much love and compassion,

  • RYC:  There’s always email!

    ,

  • Picasso was one quotable artist. I like the soft pastel tones in this picture :) What is it? a tree?

  • I absolutely adore that profile pic of you.

  •
What an amazing eye you have. Your photography is splendid. Almost like walking into another plain of existence, especially with the quotes which you choose for them.

Hope that you have a wonderful week… take care…

    D.

  • Very eye consuming… Difficult to not just stare at the lines and textures.

    Well shot, I must say!

  • I love the new “you”;…. by that I mean the profile picture of course….

did you shoot it yourself? :sunny:

    *~matthew~*

  • Ahahaha! You are absolutely right…the bare essentials are the most important. But damn, the other shit is cool too!

  • A lovely quote and picture as well.  I especially love the one below of the clouds.  Reminds me of when we flew to Australia on a Make A Wish trip for one of the boys.  The most amazing twilight sky I had ever seen in my life was from that airplane.  The clouds were pink and blue with the sun cutting through them.  :sunny::heartbeat:Kira

  • My first thought was “Gross… asparagus gone bad, real bad”!! :p

  • What wonderful texture in this shot. I really love your work.

  • What is truth? I’m a post modernist so I don’t think that question can be answered.

Truth be told, however, I love your shot.

  • Ah hah hah!  Good quote.  :heartbeat:
