  • Off to Cambria on the central California coast (pictured here from last new years).
    See everyone next year! cheers!

    Surely there is grandeur in knowing that in the realm of thought, at least, you are without a chain;
    that you have the right to explore all heights and depth; that there are no walls nor fences, nor prohibited
    places, nor sacred corners in all the vast expanse of thought.

  • Welcome back.  How was Cambria? I’ve never been there.

  • RYC:  I actually LOVE cats and had them right up until I moved in with Melanie.  Unfortunately, though, she is deathly allergic.  I very much prefer cats to dogs…  luckily, though, my Talula is very cat-like, so…  I’m content.

    Happy New Year!

  • the photo suggests a lovely place to have welcomed in the new year.

  • The meal you describe sounds delicous, especially three garlic pasta. I had been going through a garlic deficiency leading up to Christmas and had to rectify that problem recently. It’s probably the cause of my mood imbalance.

    Some of my best trips have centered around visiting with friends and cooking at home rather than eating out. Always a treasured memory.

  • Happy and lucky to return to that magical place. I hope you’re taking your camera. :sunny:

  • Hey! That kinda looks like where I’ve been lately…

  • I hope your start to the new year was filled with laughter and smiles.

    And that they continue through out the whole year…. thanks for all your kind comments and for sharing your gifts with us all.

  • Just naturally gorgeous!!

  • I absolutely love Cambria, and this is a gorgeous photograph of it!  Back in the day when I used to eat meat I loved going to the BBQ place down there during the summer.  I’d order a BBQ sandwich, sit on the grass and soak in the day.  I have some good memories of Cambria, thanks for reminding me of them.  Take care and Happy New Year!

  • I love the coast.
