  • IcePik (not numbered) Why IcePiks?

In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness.

  • I liked reading the little blurb about ‘why’.  It’s just so unusual to read what you have to say in your own words.  You seem particularly thrilled with this series.  I like it too.  Don’t get me wrong.  I love the intricacy of crystals.  They pull my eyes and hold them in, wandering.  For me, your IcePiks are very much like the inspection of a gemstone.

Ah, but I love that you obviously enjoy these so much.  Again, like my wife with a stone.    It adds a smile to the focus.  It makes the trip all the more pleasant.

Silence is precious this time of year.  I’m finding it difficult and feeling the burden.

  • lovely.. *sigh*

  • These pics are so unique.  I don’t recall ever seeing ice and frost captured like this.  Of course it is all in how you see the world.  Few people would have thought to shoot them from the outside looking in and to keep looking at that same window all winter. :goodjob:

  • I love these… :heartbeat:

  • Amazing…and thanks for the explanation!

  • beautiful :goodjob:

  • I rarely comment.  I’m sorry for that.  But I just wanted to say Happy Solstice and thank you for posting your work here.

  • RYC:  Exactly!!!  I’ve been very silly, thinking these things.  But at least I recognize it now!

  •  Lovin’ those Icepiks.    This one is really unusual.   I don’t remember seeing it before.   Was it in the show in June?    It looks a little like lichen but with the sun shining on it.

    Lovely.
