  • Moonstone Beach, Cambria, California

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear.
If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

  • Yes.

  • That was the worst part about his winning for me, knowing that it made so many of my friends unhappy. As usual, a beautiful picture well coupled with a poignant message. :heartbeat:

  • If anyone would know about peace in the midst hardship, it’s that man.

  • I have had a tremendous longing for a walk on the beach lately.  To feel the cold damp breeze on my face, to smell the salt air, to hear the crashing of the surf on the shore and to feel the sand beneath my bare feet.  Your photograph gave me a brief moment of relief, thank you.

  • Oh haha.
come by my starbucks tomorrow and i’ll make you the best cup ever.
    thanks for your lovin’
    love.

  • *laugh* when I first read your comment, I thought you were drinking red wine this morning upon waking…I was thinking “well YEAH, no wonder you feel a little off….”

  • responding to your question here and in my entry i had a clear plastic bag that came with my croissant and i crumpled it up, put it over the lens, and pointed the camera at the florescent light.

  • Thanks for the link, hadn’t seen that one

  •   I love that you can match such a wonderful picture with the perfect quote. THAT in and of its self is a talent. :)

  • Another beautiful picture!  That’s a great quote, too!:goodjob:

  • :goodjob:  Gorgeous.  I like this beach series, and this is my favorite shot.  I think I feel most free staring across a watery horizon to the music of the surf. Sunrise/sunset is a lovely bonus.  Ironic, then, that I rarely go to the beach in Miami, no?  For me, solitude is the thing that charges my batteries, so a crowded beach (anywhere in Florida) is actually a downer.  Sorry I’ve been away so long.  I still love your photos and quotes and admire you for posting them so often!
