Yah, well I raked up *18* garbage cans full of “smiles” last weekend, and there’s as much or more waiting for me again!!!! :p
That palmy looking plant makes me think of Halloween in the tropics
Never seen a picture that sums up the month of october so well :heartbeat:
that…is one perfect looking pumpkin. and i’m chuckling over the cats’ expression. o_o
I know, that pumpkin is “picture perfect”
I agree, fall is my favorite time of year.
you have a lovely site.
Those colors are amazing! Great photo and perfect quote to go with it.
Now that is creative and so pretty.
the juxta’ing of orange and green
very very nice
beautiful! :heartbeat:
Awww, I’m sorry you’re not spending the hols with your mom and dad I mean, I’m not spending them with mine either, but I’m not sorry about it
Happy Halloween! I love this shot. The orange in the pumpkin looks like its about to drip off my screen it is so beautifully saturated. And the cats expression just makes it!. :goodjob:
Hi there! Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate them. Yeah, I am a film lover. My next camera (like I have the money for it!) will be a Mamiya 645 Pro medium format SLR. If I had the money I’d go digital, but what I want is way out of my price range, even more than the Mamiya! Anyway, thanks again!
You get the greatest colors; they are so rich. I like the chilly evenings…better for snuggling.
Very excellent photo. Also the line from WCB
that kitty is too cute. i love kitties.
on a side note, some ridiculously stupid humane society sent about a dozen black cats to a pet store’s adoption center. Right before halloween. So the store (my friend works there) is not authorizing ANY adoptions until halloween has passed…
I love the angle you took this shot from… perfect
thank you so much! this site looks promising.
by the way, i love the previous picture. the contrast of colors is great.
(sorry, commenting on the run.)

interesting photos..
i checked out your gallery and your photos are pretty :sunny:
That picture is interesting for a lot of reasons: the colors, the cat, the pumpkin, the hay bale, the fronds….
RYN: And I think it’s a pretty good tribute, too.
now THAT’s what I call a pumpkin! ::grin::
Kingston et Montreal, et? fun, fun, and beautiful cities to visit, ma cherie. albeit, i admit, not nearly as loverly as if you’d been winging your way out west to Edmonton …but then, that’s just me being pouty, lol…
Your pumpkin is perfect.. how long did you have to search?? Did it end up carved?
That pumpkin looks like it was dropped in using photo shop or something.
