You know I’m of course trying to id that bird. What’s with all the black ‘specks’ in your pics??
And about the quote… guess I must be on the right trail then… see you at the end! :sunny: :fun:

Amazing picture.
I always come by, but what can I say, the same thing each time – superlative? Your work is stunning.

That is the way I feel sometimes. That IS the way I want to feel sometimes. Cheers
Do you suppose that bird is lonely, or is he enjoying his lone perch out there in the dunes? It sounds as if Mr. Abbey has had a great life and wishes it for everyone—-even the exciting dangerous part.
My life has not been too lonely, only a little crooked, very winding, and the only danger has been in my giving so much love away to my family and friends. What danger? The risk taken in that it might not be returned to me. Now, I find it has come back to me a hundred, no a thousand fold.
I am blessed with a wonderful view.
crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous,
I love this photo. I have been feeling like a lone bird quite a bit lately. I really love the colors, it looks so very alive. beautiful!
That really is an amazing photo, Molly! :goodjob: It has a real painterly feel to it. I’m on those trails all the time, except for the dangerous part. I don’t mind a few black bears, but I try to keep the danger to a minimum, with my luck!
Very nice, I want to carry a comfy lawn chair, a good book and a big straw hat.. and be lazy… right there…..
Photoshop can be such a blessing in that way. So many pictures are now “salvageable”!.
that is a GREAT wish for people… I will have to use it many times.
fantastic picture… very dreamy… i like it
Words to live by. :fun:

(and it was Ridiculously Delicious Soup… can’t you read? actually, it was a ham, bean and LOTS of veggie soup… had carrots, zucchini, some kind of greens — maybe Swiss chard… and some Mystery Veggie that was really soft like a boiled potato, but I don’t think it WAS potato… a pretty basic soup, but the broth just had this AMAZING flavor, too… I’m drooling again now… damn, isn’t it time to go home yet?)
:fun:
The sky is what I noticed first. It is a beautiful picture and a great quote to go with it!:goodjob:
That is a beautiful picture! And such a perfect quote for it too..

“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view” That pretty well describes my last 6 days. Thanks for the welcome home
…love pic and quote. This quote gives a positive slant on the path of life. Too often we view detours with remorse UNTIL we see new horizons – that is if we’re not too busy looking back. MuSe
appealing simplicity
I feel like taking off my shoes and walking around in that
