i’ve always been so fond of emerson, since i was x’s age or so.
The leaves are starting to turn here and there is a crispness to the air… :sunny:
I was thinking about emerson just yesterday when i noticed a book of his writings at a rummage. in HS, i had to do a report on emerson, and at the time i thought he was dreadfully boring, but that quote right there is far from boring. perhaps i’ll have to give ralph another shot…
I’m not so sure about drinking the wild air. That might have disastrous results.
I like that thought.
[gulp gulp gulp]
that panoply of leaves is utterly gorgeous, green and fresh and juicy
I love it–this is gorgeous; your photography is beautiful.
oh yes oh yes, but easier said than done.
…and swallow the image of summer.
There are a few people that I see here in the pages of xanga, and I wonder what their day to day life is like. You are one of those people I would like to spend an afternoon sipping coffee with. You photos are beautiful. Thanks for the comment.
The heck with sipping coffee, I’d want you to teach me how to get photos like that. Cheers.
Three of my favorite things to do as I sit under that wonderful tree in the dappled shade. Great!
love that cloud picture, its breathtaking.
hey molly! :heartbeat: IR is great fun!!! you should try it sometime! it produces the most bizarre landscapes and other things as well….i’m doing well, but super busy at work at the moment! how are you?? i hope all is well with you!
Molly, such a peaceful picture. I’d like to run in the leaves on the ground in the fall.
I just posted some IR pics today. They were shot on film. I haven’t tried IR on digital yet.
 Love your tree pictures! So, seen any redwoods lately????
is wild air a low-carb drink?
What a beautiful picture and lovely quote!:sunny:
beautiful. I went camping this weekend and couldn’t look at the sky through the trees enough. There’s something about it.
Wow…one glance at that photo and I was suddenly laying in the cool grass with whispering trees sprinkling dappled light all over me. Whew…you’re good!
hope you’re as well as can be.
hopeful image!
You gotta love Emerson. Oh, that picture is making me long for spring already. I am a spring summer kind of guy and today is the first cold day of the fall/winter. I need to remember why I love winter as I let go of another summer.
