What is life? An illusion, a shadow, a story, And the greatest good is little enough: for all life is a dream, and dreams themselves are only dreams. Pedro Calderon de la Barca
oooooh et aaaaaaaah. beautiful shot, Madame, both photo and quote. dreams. sigh…
Waking up is hard to do.
What is up with the sky in this one? A million birds?
Lovely quote.
This is breathtaking. Wonderful and wonderful!!!
Your photographs!!! They take me to another world, or another sensibility of this one. And your quotes, ah, they are always so perfect with your images.
your images keep getting better and better
Cool effect! Is that done digitally or in the darkroom?
As you know, dreams are a favorite thing of mine. I have them all the time, awake and asleep, good and bad, believeable and not. Last night I drempt of your aunt Barbara and of Wendy. And yesterday I dreamed up another bit of verse to put at the Beacon.
Dreams clear the mind for fresh thought.:)
I love the effect you chose for this! It is wonderful.
I love that building, and you have captured it so very well. What a beautiful photograph! I love the composition, angle and the softness of it. Great work! ~
Very nice blog. Thanks for stopping by. Letting things go is hard, but at least in trying we begin the process of making it habit.
well, the swans were taken from a photograph my dad took in the 1960′s in vienna, looking down, from a bridge and you couldn’t see the swan’s heads from that view. I photoshopped the image into a photo I took in a museum hallway, in Peru.
My first impression upon seeing this pic was of a building with arms outstreched, kinda like those statues of Jesus or Mary or something…
Is that a hugh high rise apartment complex?
i love that shot… somehow the building looks superimposed on the sky. displaced.
(((Hug))) hey molly! i have missed you! i thought of you when i was in ohio….i went to something called “vintage ohio” and it was the annual festival of ohio wines, and all (or at least a LOT of) ohio wineries were there….and you paid like $15.oo and you were entitled to taste all the wine you could possibly want to try..(you had a card with 100 squares..and they marked one square each time you had a sample) anyways, i had some wonderful red wines that day, and i thought it would have been something you’d have enjoyed!
