  • She lived in Cambridge I think. Right. My friends who operate a plain little sandwich shop said she often came in there. Too bad. Hadn’t heard that yet.

  • Just saw your update re: Julia Childs.

“Food that is badly cooked.” Indeed.

  • “It’s so beautifully arranged on the plate — you know someone’s fingers have been all over it.” — Julia Childs on nouvelle cuisine. :p

  • How cute!

  • Such an influence to so many chefs, she was. She will definitely be missed.

  • That dog speading sauce all over itself gave me the willies a little.  Making himself more appealing for eating?

I’m sorry to hear about Julia.  I learned how to bake from Julia.  She left this world too soon since I still can’t cook.  She was a funny bird.

  • damn, now i’m hungry and sad at the same time…

nothing some ‘rest in peace’ ice cream can’t fix, i spoze…i’m sure julia would approve…

  • I saw that too on TV.    I used to love watching her on TV.     Remember the parody on SNL?    I hear she really laughed at it.

The photo is great..    Where was it taken?    A hot dog that puts condiments on itself!  How funny!

  • God’s kitchen is truly well-stocked now.

    I’m baaack!

  • What a super freaky picture. I swear, the hot dog looks demonic.

  • I hadn’t heard about Julia Childs either.

There’s something kind of bizarre about that hot dog isn’t there?

  • Man. To reply back to your comment… I had to see the freaky hot dog again.

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How are you?  So, Are you a good person?  Let’s see if God thinks so…  http://www.livingwaters.com/good/
It’s not enough to be nice or do good things.  It’s not enough to be talented or intelligent. It’s not enough to just go to church, sit on a pew, and listen to a sermon.  IT’s not enough to follow a whole bunch of religious rules or superstitions.  For you can gain much, but lose out on the most important thing: a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus loves you so much.  He is the Only One that can fill the emptiness in your life that you have tried to fill with other things.  If fact, His love drove Him to the cross to die and rose again and set you free from your every sin.  Sin is the transgression (breaking) of the Law like the Ten Commandments.  Sins include ALL lies, premarital sex, homosexuality, stealing regardless of value, jealousy of others property, lust, putting other people or things before God.  These very sins condemned you to death and hell.  You were conceived in sin also and heading to destruction.  BUT Jesus took your place for He became sin for you on the cross. You were supposed to be on the cross because of sin! He shed His blood and rose again to save you from the clutches of hell. He paid your fine and he experienced the wrath of God for you.  You must accept.  It is your choice to accept and believe this free gift of salvation.
Unbelievers and those who don’t have a relationship with Him, you must repent of your sins! I have to warn you however, if you die in your sin, you can go to hell forever.  Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). If you do not repent of your sins, then you will perish.  God does not want you to perish.  When you accept Jesus, and repent of your sins, then you receive eternal life in heaven and abundant life on this earth.  It is only through RELATIONSHIP! Jesus accepts as who you are even in your sin. When you repent, God WILL forgive you of ALL of your sins.  Not only must you repent, but enter into the relationship that God wants with you. His blood cries out for your salvation and your deliverance! The Blood of Jesus Christ cries out for your healing and blindness!  You shall see, delivered, and be healed in the name of Jesus!  In salvation, His blood washes you and makes you whole! Jesus is coming back again!  Since tomorrow is not promised to you, if you died this second, where would you go: heaven or hell?  Jesus loves you as who you are.  He will accept you but you must humble yourself and repent.  He does not condemn you or force you.  It is your choice and He’s calling you to come!    He’s giving you a second chance!  WE all have SINNED, and fallen short of the glory of God!  He forgives!
