  • i love your photos… and that quote is so true. have a nice day

  • Gotta have the friction, yes.

I mean, nooo!  That’s wrong!  I totally disagree and the picture’s lousy!

You feel stronger already don’t you?

Yes you do.  You do.  Yes.  You do too!

  • :sunny:

  • That is such a lovely picture.

  • Your photos are awe-inspiring.

  • very nice, as always. And nodding my head in agreement with the quote. Why are we so afraid of that friction? anyway…I always enjoy my visit here.:sunny:

  •  Hi!    Well, you did it again.  You made me think!   I suppose it’s a true enough statement, but I also think we grow when we are with contemporaries who bolster our beliefs by agreeing with us.

    Nice photo, too….of course.   :heartbeat::heartbeat:

  • What a great quote :) And a wonderful picture (as per normal). You are just the queen of macros, you are.

So what’s the deal with this “volume discount?” does that mean if I yell loud enough i can a print for free? ‘cuz… i can yell pretty damn loud :)

  • hmm…so if i’m comfortable, that means i’m not growing, eh?  it just sounds so much more unpleasant that way, doesn’t it? ;)   why can’t i have both! :)

i dig the depth of the focal plane too, btw…well, use whatever official jargon you wanna use for that effect, i’m sure i butchered it pretty well ;)

  • Growth is good, but it’s so much nicer to be comfortable.

  • Thanks for the nice send-off. My trip was great. I really like the re-run photo on the 19th. Awesome…

  • Heh.  I had a comment in mind and then I read Foomanchu’s remarks.  Now, I’m laughing and confused and distracted.

  • I don’t find much comfort.

  • The mossy scape pictured above looks a lot like the floor of my forest here in Alaska.

  • hello there miss fine arts laison.

stupendous photo as usual.  i’m trying to get through these comments then it’s onto the guestbook!

  • It’s amazing that your mother and brother changed career paths at 50.  I guess one’s interests and priorities change.  If I’m a nurse now, what could I change to at 50?  I have to think about that.

If you became a nurse at any age, it would be a waste of beautiful talent.  Your pictures make me want to jump in them and rest.

  • OR… I’ve fallen, and I’m choosing to stay down.

  • i lichen your moss.  har har har.  the pun monster is controlling my feeble brain again.  sorry.

  • Thanks, I like it.

  • yes, once the school year starts, I’m hoping I can come on xanga as often as I do in the summer.  Homework can take its toll though.  I feel like I’m the one going back to school.  That math is a killer!

anyway. you take care. thank you again for being; i enjoy the little glimpse.
    love.

  • would that it were always so.

  • drift away….drift away……….drift away..

    hope your trip was good.

  • I know you’re right. It’s all a part of life.

  • what a wonderful picture… i love that.

  •  The colors & textures in this photo are really unusual, but quite intriguing. And that saying makes me squirm because I know how true it is.
