A re-run, taken October 2002
This was taken in Boston at Copp’s Hill Cemetary close to the freedom trail. I took it through a hole in a cement fountain (not sure what it was really, there was no water in it, but it looked like it might house holy water) of sorts. Most of the headstones were from the 1600 – 1800′s. I’m reposting it because it just got accepted to a group show here in Long Beach! The theme for the exhibit is Gratitude.

Welcome back!
Nice picture, certainly worth the wait! :goodjob:
very nice pic.
That is soooo coooool!!!
This pic is sooo beautiful, it’s almost poetic. It reminds me of England, for some reason.
Thank you for subscribing, although I couldn’t really understand what ‘it’ was .. I truly appreciate it.
:goodjob: Way to go Molly!! More and more recognition. Has the Louvre called yet?
Stunning – there’s something about it that has this feeling of someone from the spirit world gazing out at their final resting place…
that’s gorgeous… I love old cemeteries… :goodjob:
congrats! i’m jealous! i’ve also got a pic for ya i might have to post soon…
is the tension killing ya? hehe…dont’ answer that!
I like!
can i confess that as a distant friend, i am proud of you.
thanks for letting me have a peak of what you are up to. you still inspire me.
thank you so much.
love.
You’ve got a good eye, Molly.
Great eye. I wish I could go and check them out, and possibly purchase!
Welcome back and Congrats! Good luck to you at the show! ..kytti..
I do like cemetery shots.
now that’s an incredible shot! what a way to view a cemetary. i think i may have seen this cemetary actually about 4 years ago when i was living and working at a kids summer camp in Maine, i drove to Boston for the day and took one of those ridiculously over priced bus tours of the city…i wish i had taken photos – but of course, they would have been blurry and included my thumb in every one (heh)…congrats on having this included in the new show!
I LOVE this photo! The sepia really brings it out too. Well done.
nice shot. that’s excellent about the group show! keep on keepin on (as someone used to say somewhere for some reason).
thanks for the comments! love this photo..has a distant voyeuristic sense but captures some humility in death…nice
:coolman:  I love your work! It’s amazing !!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like it is very hard!
You know, one could make up a 100 stories about such a photo…hence the skill of it’s creator.
Wow! That is a very neat photo! :goodjob:
Where’d you go? did you fall into one of your snapshots?
lisa
it’s like looking through a window into a different time…
