I say that I am myself, but what is this Self of mine But a knot in the tangled skein of things where chance and change combine? Donald R. Perry Marquis
yep. taken last march when was still in montreal! :spinning:
tangled skein indeed – I love that picture, I have one similar of the water on the pool cover in the winter thaw
Gorgeous photo.
very nice Did you use a polarizing filter to cut some glare, or was it just not a real glarey day? I’ve got a polarizer but haven’t tried it out yet… was thinking about experimenting with some tidepools…
lovely. You say so much.
Add to that a few thousand I’s and the tangle really gets interesting.
Ain’t THAT the truth?
well said and well captured!
What is that exactly?
not only is it ice…it’s canadian ice. from mohn-ree-ahl. and you can do all sorts of things with the bends…like it’s a big N or maybe an A and an N combined, or perhaps a birds head/beak. i’m not even stoned or anything, either.
Once again, a perfect union of photo and quote.
Pete
i can;t say that was what i exactly envisioned but yeah i was trying to get a shot similar to that
Wonderful photo. I was wondering, do you edit your photos with any program (e.g. photoshop)?
:lookaround:Thanks…
cheers.
Makes me think… Native American. I think it’s because it reminds me of the headdresses that chiefs would wear.. with the tufts of feather and yeah…
Oh … these are GREAT! I’m lovin’ it. Thank you for sharing them.
it’s strangely pretty…
awww, M, thanks for leaving me a comment. I love Sarah Harmer dearly and would highly highly recommend her if you’re looking for a folksy-Canadian sound. (p.s. i’ve moved xangas!)
I love seeing your photos and you always have such inspiring quotes to go with them.:goodjob:
