So it is with minds.
Unless you keep them busy with some definite subject that will bridle and control them,
they throw themselves in disorder hither and yon in the vague field of imagination.
..And there is no mad or idle fancy that they do no bring forth in the agitation. Michel de Montaigne

Painfully true.
That looks like my mind too often. Filled with unbrideled subjects!
:heartbeat:that is such a great photo.
Very true
It looks like the camera is being carried along in the rapids. One can almost feel the movement. Very cool.
When did you take that picture of my mind? wink
:sunny: A child’s mind is a lot like that too. Tossed and turned by so much stimulation. It’s a wonder they are able to learn anything at all to benefit them. It’s a good thing that rapids finally lead to still water so that one’s mind can just float awhile and sort things out.
i hope thats not a shot of your toilet!
woah!
you got great water pressure!
heh.
Great photo, as usual!!
I know what you mean about the exercise thing. I may just start with walking at the lake. I’m going to check out the YMCA, too. Uhg.
It’s kind of a shame this is true, but I have to agree…and most of the time my mind is going hither and yon. Can you suggest a place to find a bridle? I don’t think they sell that kind in the local tack stores.
my mind is just blank
hey, this looks like a normal view for me while i wipe out down a hillside walking my dog *g*
i love it.
I’ve been agitating too much…
almost agitated enough to run off to Russia with my Elmer Fudd hat (how did you know I had one of those?)
hi hun, howv ya been ?
stunning images…as I’ve come to expect. You haven’t been on fotolog for a while, about as long as me not writing to this space ha ha. I”ve lost touch lately,…and my mind ha ha
Praise God for abundant water … can’t imagine life without it … Hehe!
The whirl…it is great. Brings you right back into the shot.
ah, those french…so french are they.
What an interesting quote. And I really like the picture you picked to go with it or was it the other way round?
