This is the view from my back door as i stand on the landing. I live upstairs in a duplex and the blooms are the overgrown bougainvillea that covers the patio.
A friend is someone who sees through you and still enjoys the view. Wilma Askinas
Wow. You are blessed. That is gorgeous.:):heartbeat:
 i love your photos!! they’re awesome!!
how ironic. i just posted an ‘out the back window’ shot not knowing that you were too! heh. your’s is much, much better. and not quite as dismal.
me? nooo, i think it’s you!
:spinning:
i bet that smells great when the wind blows through your window… mmmm!
Beautiful.
Gorgeous View! Over grown? LOL… I cannot get it to grow here!
great quote
ah, such beautiful colors!!
:sunny: Good morning! It’s a cloudy Thursday here and there’s no bouganvilla out my window. A neighbor had a great red bottle brush blooming for a while, but now it’s done and mostly what I see is green. :whocares: But then green is better than the brown of winter.
Good quote too.
I used to dream of bougainvillea as a young girl… (doesn’t grow here)…
God, that is really beautiful!!
:sunny: Beautiful! I have geraniums that are bright like that, but I had to plant them.
Bougainvillea are so nice to look at and so nasty to fall in.
what beautiful fleurs, mademoiselle! your photos make my day, such wondrous things you share with us. every day is a treat for the eyes!
:spinning: so pretty!!
I love bougainvillia. What a lovely view you have.
What a beautiful view and a lovely quote!:goodjob:
i have a view very similar to that out of my bedroom window – looking onto the roof of the carport, which is covered in bougainvillea. what a riot of colour it is.
:goodjob: What a wonderful quote. I spent the day with such a friend.
Nice colors!
When I was in Mexico, one of the folks I was with kept asking what the pretty flowers were, and I’d always say that they were bougainvilleas – and everyone would chuckle and move on. They thought I was making it up! Grr.
Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome back.
bougainvillea is one of those words i read and think it in my head, but then when i have to actually say it aloud i always balk.
just thought the world should know that.
darn pretty, though.
I heard you speak of Moonstone Beach on another blog. When I was a kid I spent many Saturdays playing there. :sunny:
AMEN! God bless you and the work of your hands. The way you eyes see the things of this earth reflects how much our Creator loves His creation. Continue to bless other lives with the beauty and the life of the images the reflect the glory of heaven.:sunny:
