When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, “I used everything you gave me.” Erma Bombeck
by the way, i grafitti’d the porch yesterday (with the sidewalk chalk). it reads: WWJD What Would Jules Do? By dog, I think he’s got it.
nice rust….works well with the touch of blue…horse trailer with old tires in it?
That’s a great quote, but I don’t agree with the notion that talent is consumable. I think it’s more like gravity–it’s always there whether you “use” it or not.
I love old rusted out and forgotton items. Great photo and quote.
You’ll have a hard time using up all of your talent, even if you live to be 200.
oh bill, you flatter me so
i’ve definitely maxed out in a few areas already…too bad those aree along the linese of “worrying” talent and “self-criticism” ;P
i’m getting to thee more positive ones, though, i swear!
I wonder if she did?
Amen to that!!!
Oohh.. I like that saying very much.
