Oooh, since I almost missed the last post, can I be first this time?
Yes, okay, I can. Cool. That means I can leave a ‘real’ comment now.
Are the windows really blue, or do they just ‘look’ that way? I have a thing for blue windows. Lovely shot.
hmm…i’m guessing the blue was just a reflection from the sky, but i’m not for sure!
oh, and i’ll give you your prize later for being first! :spinning:
That is so beautiful. Where is it?
Sorry, I had a senior moment 50 years too early.
Long Beach.
i wish i was a building. beautiful architecture.
how do you get your white fuzzy borders around your pictures??
i love old buildings. i love this shot. i want to travel around europe just to take photos of the architecture. it’s a shame modern buildings don’t have the detail older buildings have.
yes! I love the Chrysler building (my very fave of all time) for that reason.
makin’ me regret not pursuing architecture… ;P
That would make a nice painting.
I
all architecture. I must have been a mason or architect in a past life.
As for you question: no; the Holga takes 120 medium format roll film.
A great place to learn about holga and see much better pictures than mine is http://www.toycamera.com/
There’s that little bit of blue in the recent posts. Is that purposeful? Or am I being too perceptive?
Where in Long Beach is that building? I lived in Long Beach for years and don’t remember ever seeing it…. Beautiful shot!

:heartbeat::heartbeat:beautiful.
I tried to get a shot like that of the Alamo, but alas, I was there at the wrong time of day. The sun was at the wrong angle and all I could get was the sun glaring right at the camera. Too bad, because I think it would have made a great shot, like yours.
Beautiful…
as always.
Looks like I’ve lost you… hurry back.
…and life is but a dance.

:sunny:Sending some sunshine your way!!! I love the picture of that building…:heartbeat:

that looks like a church to me.. i love buildings as well.. old structures that have their stories. you can stare at them and re-live in your head what lays behind them…
Wonderful–what noble intent the designers must have had. How could one not feel reverence entering under that arch.
i’ve visted you under other ID
haven’t commented though, but i’m glad that you’re still viewing the world the way you lovingly do.

What a great photograph. I am drawn to architecture as well and this would be one that would catch my eye. wink
