makes me feel lonely.. the moon is defently a mood setter..
So, I’m a backyard astronomer and have plans to make sure my daughter is as well. So one of the first words I taught her was “moon”.
A couple months ago, we were walking with her Gran through a parking lot. My mom and I were talking and my daughter kept talking whilst I kind of tuned her out. She eventually got annoyed with me, grabbed my face, mad me look her in the eye, and said “Daddy!” I said, “What baby, what is it?” She pointed up to the moon, and said “Moon.” I said, “yes, baby, that’s the moon.” So she says, “No. Moon, daddy. Get Moon.”
i’m still working on this, but maybe photos would be the way, huh?

The moon’s been seeing me safely to work the last couple of mornings… (of course, if it *really* cared, it would tell me to stay home and read…)
