This is a photo I took last year while in Montreal. (some of you may remember it, I posted it at the time) I was on a walkabout and these old shoes were laying out on someone`s sidewalk. I thought it was odd that there was one boot and not two…anyway, this photo is in an exhibit that opens today in San Pedro at Angels Gate The show is called: aging: people, places & perceptions
This will be my first piece in a real exhibit
I also have a show slated for January with another photographer, and a solo show in May. I want to thank everyone for your comments and support since my emergence on Xanga.

congratulations on the exposure
love the pic, the red certainly stands out!
… from tomorrow on and for a week i’ll be busy selling those kind of items at a charity bazaar … You are getting me into it in advance
!!!
you know, you of all people never need to feel like you have to say something insightful or interesting. i’m just so honoured to have you stop by and coming by your page always gives me a dose of much needed insight. thank you.
(and congrats on the exhibit!)
Yay! You finally announced your upcoming shows. I’ve been so proud and unable to say anything about it to any of my web friends.
You have “emerged”. What a nice phrase. My dotter has emerged. Her emergence is underway. I hope this whole thing doesn’t turn into an “emerge-cy”. I know you have a lot of it done, but there are so many photos to get ready.
(Sorry, I just have to be the nervous Mom here.) How will I ever wait till January and then wait again till May?
it’s a beautiful picture. I love the way you see things, and capture them on camera.

congratulations.
Good news about the show man!! If I’m ever in your city, it’d be nice to catch a show of yours.
The photo is edited, is it not? like, coloured? that’s the first time I’ve seen that on your site here, unless you’ve done it in other pictures that I haven’t noticed.. do you edit often?
congratulations on the show, Molly! I’m so excited for you!

imagine one red boot amongst the black surrounded by pairs..

Congratulations!!!!
What a very thought-provoking picture!!

I’ve never seen anyone with such a photographer’s eye in my life! Good luck on the show — I’m at the other end of the state, or I’d be right over there to see it! I know you’ll get rave reviews!

…what a fantastic counter-point – the “red” boot!!! Absolutely thrilled to learn of your exhibits!!!!! Such a talent as yours MUST be shared – wish I could attend. Oh please, fill us in won’t you?
You lucky thing! I so dread winter’s approach. Hugs,
MuSe
…yes, we have had a couple of frosts and I could hear your chuckle of being back in CA.
i found ur quotes so inspiring i posted a couple of urs on mine hope u dont mind
Congratulations! You deserve a wider audience. Unfortunately, I can’t say much about this striking photo. It reminds me too much of the exhibit roomful of shoes at Auschwitz.
all of these photos and quotes are truely insperational.
wow congrats! wish i could go see it. tis a bit far though.
working on getting some exposure myself. it’s not easy.
good for you. best of luck.
I think this photo just means that the world is meant to stand variety…goodluck on your show!
I don’t ever remember seeing this shot. I love this. Is this done digitally, the red boot? The shot is great alone, but the red added on the boot really puts it over the top.
And by the way Thank you for your emergence!
Awesome! An exhibition! You certainly are talented enough. It would be neat if you could display the quotes along with the pictures, just as you do here.
AWESOME!!!!!
