I never saw a moor, I never saw the sea; Yet know I how the heather looks, And what a wave must be. I never spoke with God, Nor visited in Heaven; Yet certain am I of the spot, As if a chart were given. Emily Dickinson
E. Dickinson is an old favorite of mine. I share her feelings. Some things you just KNOW.
Beautiful red color.
Emily Dickinson was one of my first poetic loves. I devoured her work when I was about twelve.
I really love the comments that you leave, and I look forward to them. It seems that you always have something meaningful to say.
Always loved Emily D. Don’t recall ever hearing this one though. Cool pic!
Sorry to hear you have snow again :(. Perhaps that’s why you posted this passionate red picture to counterbalance the cold atmosphere? I love Emily Dickinson too. Your quotes of late have been very deep and spiritual. I love ‘em.
All the ~red in your pic., I never saw hell, but it sure looks like the fires of hell. And they say, God is dead and Elvis is alive!
:) :D :p
sorry had to try out the faces lol,
excellent post i love the meanings that you bring out!
You and your reds!! I love it!!
Looks like it needs a sign that reads “Abandon all home all ye enter here.”
…we must have templates that cause us to know. Like the architecture in this pic is fantastic! MuSe

Never heard that saying before, I really like it though. Some of the most beautiful things in life cannot be seen nor are they tangible. Love the photo.
Love the poem… and the pic… which is really unsettling…! :
What a wonderful quote….and the photo is a perfect match, I think.
