  • Riding in a taxi one afternoon between very tall buildings under a mauve and rosy sky; I began to bawl because I had everything I wanted and knew I would never be so happy again. Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald

  • “There’s a light…over at the Frankenstein place!”

  • Chilling, looks like it came out of an Edgar Allen Poe story!

  • Seems like The House of Usher by Poe

  • Sorry, I’m stuck on your profile pic… can’t articulate anything about this pic here… … maybe later, when (and if) I recover…

  • Molly, this pic is cool on so many levels!! I love the angle, and the subject, but the colors make it beyond terrific. The brooding, rouged sky and dark forbidding structure offsets the blue, hopeful gleam of the light from the window. Nice!

  • now that has to be one of my favourites yet!!! it is so ghastly and mysterious!!! i love it! the blur makes it appear as though you can actually see the soul of the building!!! buildings have souls, you know…but it’s not always easy to capture them! you definitely have!

  • Very ghostly house indeed, yet this “rosy sky” also expresses some sort of immense joy as Fitzgerald described. What a wonderful quote that suits my mood so well. Tack så mycket :

  • I’m with Lise.    What a profile pic!   It makes me sad.   Brooding is not good for the soul, ya’ know??

Besides, I know you would never wear such dark makeup.

  • I began to bawl ….it’s more like I began to howl!

  • Eh, don’t know what happened there….~big gap~!
I guess your profile picture call me all excited!

  • What colors!

  • I’m joining JO in a howl. AAAAWOOOOO!! Absolutely stunning photograph.

I wonder why I’m not seeing you on my SIR list. I looked over your entries and have missed the last three!!! I’ve been checking my list regularly, too. Hmm…

    Beautiful profile picture.

  • Haunting and beautiful photograph.

  • The blue glow in the photo caught my eye – but I am more stuck on the quote than anything. I can’t imagine being “topped out” like that. Reach for the sky!

  • Did you take this?!?! This photo is in-fucking-credible.

And damn. That new profile pic is… um… lickable.

  • There is not really a limit on happiness.  It’s kind of like love.  The more you feed it, the more it sustains.  I can’t imagine feeling like I could never feel happier.  Thought provoking quote, though.

  • Wow…this image conjures up many thoughts. From beauty to Bagdad. imagine having everything and being that happy. Don’t know if i’d ever want that. I want to always strive… :)
Yea I do need some vitamins. I’m really run down and feeling like shit. I have started drinking a herbal tea from a native plant here in Aotearoa. It is blood purifier, cleaning the liver, kidneys…pretty amazing stuff. Whats even more amazing is 99.9 percent of the World don’t know about it.
    :) Lovely profile hun

  • I wanted to respond to your comment/question … The Klimt print is one in a series … Expectation, Fulfillment, and The Kiss.  They’ve long been three of my favorites.  I hadn’t looked at the picture in the male/female aspect until you mentioned it, although I knew that it was a female waiting upon a male.  However, that idea doesn’t really depict anything particular from my post or life.  I chose it by instinct, not sure why, at least in a tangible way.  Thanks for your comments; I love visiting your site.

  • Wow, Molly, that gave me goosebumps.  The quote and the photo together, and I’m not even sure why!  He lived an adventurous yet tragic life.  So much potential, and yet…

And I really like the new profile photo!

In response to your comment–I don’t understand why there are people so afraid to welcome strangers.  It makes life quite lonely to move somewhere that the people won’t even give you a chance.  We only had one Welsh friend in Wales!  (We had friends, but they were all “foreign” too!)

  • Wow! That photo is so beautiful! did u take it?

  • …wonderful pic, Molly. Immediately the pic shouted “Salvation – open 24/7 – we left a light on for you.”
…in your current profile pic you bear a strong resemblance to mo2go. MuSe

  • I’d love it if there were more greens in the bottom of the picture to compliment the sky even more. It’s a really beautiful shot overall though. props =)

  • Amazing photo! Interesting quote too – having everything you want and so knowing you can never be that happy again – hmmm!

  • Another beautiful picture  from you doll.  Lovely.

    Where do you find them?

    Have a GREAT Tuesday!!

  • very moodful.

     is that iraq?

  • lovely images! bravo!
