  • If I work toward an end, meantime I am confined to a process. The rainbow is more beautiful than the pot at the end of it, because the rainbow is now. And the pot never turns out to be quite what I expect. Hugh Prather

  • Groovy photo. Like the fish one below too. Is that a fish???

  • Oh yeah! This one just totally makes me SMILE!

  • Carpet??

Hugh P — I have his “How to Live in This World and Still be Happy”… I like(d) him. He’s dead now, ain’t he?

  • The answer to what this is, is hidden in the quote!

  • I haven’t stopped by in TOO LONG. I really enjoy your photos!

  • i thought it was a pan at first ;)

    i love your photography =)

  • afterthefact, it is, in fact, a pot!

  • I’m just not fast enough! I was going to guess that as a pot but made it too late.

  • Duh!

  • P.S. — Good One!

  • …now, the real question is not what it’s a picture of, but what in the world have you been cooking in that thing?! Or is that the bottom? Hmmm…

It’s a really great photo, nonetheless!!! I love the coloration…..

  • Oh, wow.  Jeez, that’s beautiful.

I don’t have anything more clever to say than…wow.

  • oh wow….those colours are amazing!!!!!!! wonderful!!!

ah yes…a glass of wine(or a few!) and a good discussion…..just what i’m craving! it is a shame we are on different continents!

  • oooh!  beautiful!!!!

  • ok…links please!

  • What wonderful colors! I would call this photo “Birth” for some reason.

    Wise saying, too.

  • …reminds me of your Ice Piks, love it.
“Birth of the Sun”, “The Big Bang”, pop-in my mind. MuSe

  • Cool!  I never would have figured it out without the quote.  At first, to me, it kind of looked like a nebula in deep space.    See?  Science Fiction has eat up my brain!

  • Wow, Molly, I really like this one.  I have always loved copper when it oxydizes.

I’ve been drinking the yerba mate for about 3-4 weeks now, and you do get used to the different flavour.  Are you using teabags or loose tea?  I am using bags, and keeping it in the hot water only about 3 minutes.  I find I have been sleeping better, feeling more energetic in the daytime, and a bit more focused maybe.  I’m hoping it will improve my memory (especially for FRENCH!) and especially my metabolism.  I did a lot of reading, and am hopeful that it will help me regain better overall health and stability.  We shall see!!

  • Hi Molly, this photo is a wow. Perhaps in the case of the oxidation, the end result (the “pot”) turns out to be even better than the process (the “rainbow”). Well, the end result is a rainbow!!!!

Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience about your brother. 20 years is a long time not being in touch…. My brother is only a year and a half older than me so I think our situations are similiar. We haven’t been in contact for almost 5 years, but we grew apart already 13 years ago. I wouldn’t be looking for my bro among strangers coz it’s impossible ! But I can imagine the strange feeling for you to be doing so ! Well, at least you have three other brothers… and I have only one .

  • That’s pretty neat!  Molly, you’re just ~too good~

  • Just stopped by to thank you for the comment on my blog and I was blown away. Beautiful! You have some very nice, very creative stuff here! Ain’t photography wonderful?

  • Groovy, yes, but gorgeous.  Beautiful.
