  • This photo was taken in Boston last year while I was walking on the Freedom Trail.

  • civilization seems like an impossible dream sometimes! i hope that we achieve it eventually!

  • Great picture, but isn’t that redundant? After all, I am at your site

Did you ever see “Chicago”? What did you think of it?

    Take care!!!

  • I really like that picture.  Thanks for sharing it.

  • I really like that picture.  Thanks for sharing it.

  • …great pic, Molly. MuSe

  • I love Boston.

  • Nothing like those old Eastern cities to steep you in history.   I loved going there.    To walk in the footsteps of our forefathers.   To see the statues and the tombstones of patriots.     To know just how long everything had been there.

America’s history is just beginning when you put it up against Europe, but it’s ours and I love it.

    Great photo, naturally.

  • that is a great pic, nice detail and composition. where do you live btw?
    have an awesome weekend

  • Great photo.  Funny how the American’s fly their flag so much.  Over here in england it would be thought of as eccentric and jingoistic.  British understatement perhaps?  Tom

  • I came to you via pprjournal – have a good weekend.  I love her pics and words.  Gonna check your’s out now

    Something to ponder:

Civilization is nothing else but the attempt to reduce force to being the last resort.  – Jose Ortega y Gasset

  • Awesome photo. Dark starkness and then the indifferent sky.

  • Hi Molly. Sorry I’ve been scarce.

  • Good pic for these times. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all people really could respect each other?

  • Hey Southland, I thought you were supposed to be partying real life with the PPRs?

This guy had a weird outlook in general, not just on jewellery.  He had raised his ex wife’s daughter since childhood. She was 30 and he referred to her as “my ex-wife’s daughter”, like he hardly knew her!  He really thought women were made as a support system for men as well. I didn’t dislike him, but he just wasn’t where I’m at.
