Sunset in the Plateau, Montreal, Quebec
We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter’s evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true. Where do you find these wonderful quotes!
Fine architecture! I love old buildings. I wonder just how old this one is??
The quote is good too. I like the sunrise and sunset with the day sandwiched inbetween. A sandwich for a bite of life!
Thanks, Molly for the words re: losing my pet.
This photo is fabulous – something about the lighting is wonderful, and reminds me of my childhood in PA. Looks like sunrise on an early spring morning.

Great photo. Those clouds are unbelievable!
That is BEAUTIFUL! I can’t wait to go to Montreal!
I think big women are dreamers too.
My dreams are definitely helping me get through this ‘time’ in my life.
Thanks for this, sis

This reminded me of everything I love about Montreal.

Lovely row of houses, they remind me of those at Llandudno (Wales) that overlook the ocean.
I miss Montreal.
I was only in Montreal for a week, but I miss it too ~ it rocketed into number 2 on my all time favourite cities list in just a few days
