  • …but while wandering, you experience a kind of mysteriously organic process. It’s like a tree growing. It doesn’t know where it’s growing next. A branch may grow out this way, then that way, and then another way. If you let it be that way and don’t have pressures from outside, when you look back, you’ll see that this will have been an organic development. • Not much snow in Montreal!
Ver good contrast between the young sapling and the old tree.

  • You can do no wrong can you? Well, photography wise at least

    Take care!

  • Very nice! I really love the contrast between the straight slender lines of the sapling, and the gnarled twisted boughs of the other tree.

  • I have some Jospeh Campbell books I have yet to get around to reading, but little snippets I’ve heard have been excellent and this quote is no exception.

Are all the photographs taken by yourself?

  • Zar-yes, everything you see here is shot by me, mostly digital, but some traditional SLR work. I love J. Campbell. I was turned on to him a few years back when I watched “The Power of Myth” on PBS. If you get a chance you should see that – very interesting!
