that looks somewhat like the terrain in my backyard today… only my backyard has a little bit more snow.
really, really nice.
The black, black trees are lovely.
That quote was on my fridge for ~years~…
That speck on the tree… was that a sleeping porcupine or a squirrel’s drey?
What gorgeous pictures! Many thanks are due, of course, for stopping by my site. I’m always glad to see a new face. You’ll be seeing me around more often *smile*
You post / take the most beautiful pictures.
Lovely picture.Cheers Portia
This feels peaceful.
So beautiful! We have no snow (unusual in Minnesota) and I miss it!
I can always count you for some inspiration.
Great picture!
Could you tell us the location? My first reaction was brrrrrr! Frozen beauty.
Mom, this is another shot at Mont Royal over the new year holiday. On this day when we went up to look around there was also fog. We couldn’t walk down to the pond because of ice, and yes, it was brrrr.
It’s poetic! Don’t you just like winter when there is snow?!
…such talent!!! Wonderful pic, love the black and white treatment. MuSe
Another wonderful picture. I am very envious of your talent. Believe me.
This is a lovely picture. Those woods beckon, don’t they?
Jaysus I’m homesick…

how beautiful…boy molly…this one ranks right up there as one of my favourites!!!
That’s so incredibly beautiful. There are strong verticles but the horizontals pull it together. It’s like an exploration of middle gray.
Killer 1-2 punch. Love the pic and the quote. Glad I surfed back through ZZ.
