“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don’t take notice.” — Alice Walker, The Color Purple, 1982
wow! and I was wanting the quote, but I see you have friends. ^^^
“Names are an important key to what a society values. Anthropologists recognize naming as ‘one of the chief methods for imposing order on perception.’ What is not named in a culture very likely goes unnoticed by the majority of its people. The converse is also true: people pay greater attention to things that have been given names.” – David S. Slawson
Wow… awesome! The ice looks like feathers! I’m speechless….
wonderful photo (we’ve been seeing a lot of that lately!) Thanks for the Christmas card! What a nice surprise in the mailbox! Have a wonderful holiday.
Thank you for your card.
Airchild said it. Feathers, or more aptly, down. Floating while picking geese. Or in the air after a pillow fight. Or in the chicken yard after the boss rooster shows a youngster who’s the main bird.
This one is very pretty, but I think I like #9 the best so far. The red lighting makes it look more Christmasy. Is that a word?
I immediately wanted to make this my desktop background, but alas, the pixellation did it no justice. It is very pretty.
This is great….looks soft…like you could lay your head down on it and rest awhile.
Frost is really beautiful, isn’t it?
I like this frost picture best…..
…as the others, I love it!!! There could be no choosing for me - each of your IcePiks is “the best”. This one reminds me of stars. Love and energy, MuSe
