The artist must create a spark before he can make a fire and before art is born, the artist must be ready to be consumed by the fire of his own creation. Auguste Rodin
“As fire kindled by fire, so is the poet’s mind kindled by contact with a brother poet.” – John Keble
This one looks like it’s burning to a great intensity already, behind a “veil”, and it is about to burst into a great, almighty conflagration! It’s going to erupt any moment now… and then it will run and spread… like wildfire!
Perfect quote to go with a lovely pic! It looks like a burning coal waiting to warm someone.
so VERY VERY true!
ppr had it about right. I see molten lava in this one.
You look very sexy in your profile pic. Classy.
Ice and fire! Lovely pics of ice… I like all three of them. That quote by Rodin rocks.
I see the dying embers of a bonfire on a sandy beach with the full moon shining…

Thanks for stopping by my site. How did you end up as Southland living in Canada?
Tell me how you got this shot!?
i really love the rich colours in this one….are you lighting the windows or are you just finding them naturally lit this way?
I certainly ‘see’ differently. Looks like a tail brake light through a frosted window to me.
These are fantastic! Wish I had frost to photograph. Instead, just rain, rain.
…superb colouration, so exciting! Love and energy, MuSe
