  • Well, it appears I can’t download my digital pics currently while I’m traveling! (pout-pout) So, this photo was from before I left. Hopefully Roger is sitting in this chair waiting for my return! With any luck, I’ll fix my technical problem and be able to show you photos from my adventures, but for now I’ll just have to show Montreal shots…Texas was great! I just got in to California last night, so we’ll see what’s ahead!

  • I live by my wits. I have to be sharp and clever, lest I go hungry. I have to think things out, catch what I can, take what comes. From Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White

…thought I’d start off the Halloween festivities with this lovely specimen! Looks a bit pixely to me on screen…oh well…that’s how the pixel crumbles!

I am leaving tomorrow morning for 2 weeks. So if I don’t post for a few days, that’s the reason! First I will go to visit family in Texas and go to my high school reunion, then I will go to California to do some work and see my extended family. I will try to post from CA from time to time! Au revoir!

  • …more highlights from my walk I took on Sunday around the neighborhood. I have no idea what kind of blossoms these are, but they look like they are ready to burst!

  • Where the Fairies Dance

  • These were taken at one of the many underground malls here in Montreal. I didn’t get to read all about these installments, but I thought they were really neat looking – and massive! Flying topiaries!

  • …I love clouds. I’ve been watching them for the past hour or so blow past my window. It’s been kind of like watching a movie…it’s very windy here today. In fact, that is what woke me up this morning…the wind. Maybe I’ll post something else later, but for now I want to just think of clouds.

  • I never saw a moor, I never saw the sea; yet know I how the heather looks, and what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God, nor visited in Heaven; yet certain am I of the spot, as if a chart were given.

    Emily Dickinson

  • You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go … Theodor Seuss Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss, 1904-1991

  • Yet it is only when the world enters the heart that is can be made into soul.
