Ol Aristotle knew what he was talking about.   So beautiful.    You need a book to help you identify the bugs and butterflies.   I have an old one somewhere around here. 

Hi, Molly! I just HAPPEN to be working on an art project that includes butterflies. This weekend I made a photocopy of the butterfly pages from the encyclopedia and I see that this butterfly is a Mourning Cloak.

And so true about the miracle of nature: creation, beauty, death, renewal. *sigh*

Don't you just love living in a place where nature has so many things to offer!!  You will never get bored there for sure.  You make me want to move to California.  Not really, I am satisfied living where I live, but California is very interesting.
