Late Fragment And did you get what you wanted from this life, even so? I did. And what did you want? To call myself beloved, to feel myself beloved on the earth. ~Raymond Carter
it’s blooming on a cactus that someone gave me. i don’t know exactly what kind it is…no real stickers on it and the “branches” are kind of soft and velvety. i never knew that it bloomed before…maybe our hot weather here, versus LB gave it permission? i will likely not be here when it opens up though
It might just as well be good for you that you miss the bloom, Molly. I think you have this plant—- http://www.suite101.com/view_image.cfm/507638 I stinks like long dead meat. Your Grandma used to have one. I hope you have it outside.
also, i wonder if it will attract the turkey vultures!!
I dunno about vultures, but maybe flies. The blooms are interesting looking, sort of attractive and I understand the stink only lasts for a day or two. ha ha
I certainly love your marriage of word and image… even when your photos could speak volumes alone you find the perfect partner. *~matthew~*
