  • Regard this fleeting world like this

    The Radiant Buddha said:
Regard this fleeting world like this:
Like stars fading and vanishing at dawn,
like bubbles on a fast moving stream,
like morning dewdrops evaporating on blades of grass,
like a candle flickering in a strong wind,
    echos, mirages, and phantoms, hallucinations,
    and like a dream.
The Eight Similies of Illusion, from the Prajna Paramita Sutras

  • I wonder if I have a Buddha in me?     If this means the spirit of God, Buddha, Allah or whatever you choose to call it, then I sincerely hope so.    My spirit tells me I am safe, chosen and saved.   Beautiful quote and photo.

My fleeting world is going fast.  I am in the twilight of my years, waiting for what comes next and doing my best to do what’s right till the end.

  • This is lovely, as are all your carefully chosen contributions! Please do some faces…young, old, and everyone inbetween. Especially faces who need prayer. Thanks.
