it has taken years but my cats finally allow me to lay in the sun with them as long as I leave my anxiety behind. In that pile of fur and purr zen enlightenment is close at hand.
Um, could it be we envy this creature who sleeps in the most unlikely places, the funniest postures, through noise and human movement? Oh, to be able to relax the way cats do.. They fairly exude calmness.
But, that being said, they can make a racket when they are in their chase mode too.
Either way, I love ‘em.

I love that shot. And it makes me homesick for my boy, who is home, waiting for me to get back from vacation.
It wasn’t until the second look that I noticed Coal there too!
After reading the above note I went back and looked more carefully. I was pleased to see I could find the second cat. After it had been made more obvious for me of course. Blessings abound
RYC: Yeah, I always make New Year’s resolutions but I never stick to them. Maybe I should add that to the list: “stick to my New Year resolutions…”
