  • For myself I hold no preferences among flowers, so long as they are wild, free, spontaneous. Edward Abbey

  • Nasturtium, right?  Did you know they are edible?    I’ve never tried them myself, but your Grandma Milich used to grow them.     I like them but have never had much luck with growing them.   I know if you feed them too much, they don’t bloom as well, but make a wonderful green plant.

And as for wild flowers, well, one man’s weed is another man’s flower.    I like them all, wild or cultured.

ryc: i’m blessed… just not in the ways i’d like.

  • Artful and careful cultivation do benefit some wild plants immeasurably – - – but they are free nevertheless to shower beauty on all.

    Beautiful picture Molly.
