There are very few human beings who receive the truth, complete and staggering, by instant illumination. Most of them acquire it fragment by fragment, on a small scale, by successive developments, cellularly, like a laborious mosaic. Anais Nin
interesting… I can’t even tell if that’s a photo or a painting!

makes me want to see more
Isn’t that the truth!
love the color.
Great quote, and so true. good to see inspiration is still a plenty around here
you do such a great job of finding quotes that fit your photos ds
It is so true great picture.
A great blending of quote and image~
I have moved to an old site I had used infrequently since joining the xanga forum in 2003, having closed down the pseudonym laurieglynn site. In visiting a photographer friend’s site this evening, I was reminded how much I enjoyed visiting here and viewing your work.
And so I have come to visit. ~
Blessings~
This is super cool in the fact that it looks like a painting or graphic. I’d love to see a photo of the bigger pictures, whatever this is and where ever.
I think I receive the truth both ways…and I love that quote/photo combination.

ryc: The cards are yours! A lot of this stuff I just hold onto because I want to make sure that it goes to someone that will appreciate it.
* “who” will appreciate it. Gotta work on that grammar.
rycrycryc … ha!
Yes, you can definitely have them. Back when I sold vintage children’s books, I bought the cards with the intention of selling them. I never really got around to it. Most likely, I only paid a quarter or so for them. There may be a few duplicates, but there are about 45 cards.
When I was in 2nd grade, my mom took my babysitter and I out to dinner, and then we went to see the movie. I think that I was given the album for Christmas that year. You know, I have never, ever seen the second one (with Michelle Pfeiffer). I am a big Stockard Channing fan though.
