It’s the Eve. The cornbread just went into the oven and I am about to season the turkey and start the broth. I will make pea soup and the rest of the trimmings to go with the turkey for tomorrow. Tonight, it’s shrimp gumbo.
Oh, what I would give to have you all around the table with us. Oh, Lord, now it’s the tears again. I am such a baby.
