La Jolla seals at night. not a great photo since i didn’t have my tripod with me, but still, it was amazing just to stand and gaze at all these seals napping on the sandy cove. La Jolla Seals

sorry. I just *heart* animals, especially when they’re sleeping.
I can’t help but wonder about the smell!! But it is still would like to see it. I like the color too.
Mr. Einstein is right. If we can’t love animals, our society is not worth much.

They look like carefully placed wet stones that bark! When I was driving up the coast a couple of months ago, I came across a whole bunch of seals on a beach near San Simeon. It was awesome to just sit and watch them for a while.
“Peace” is a kind of mantra to me. Like you, I find myself wishing it for both the world and for myself.
I didn’t realize they came out on the beaches like that. Guess I haven’t been paying attention!
What a sight that must have been.
