  • Oh this reminds me of
1: my mini zen sand garden and
2: a quote I have on my cork board at home about
not geting caught up in god or buddha or “god of your choice” just listen… it would fit that lovely photo!

  • True. So true.

  • That is a remarkable quote.

  • It’s a tough discipline, be it a garden or a potato.

If that was a really really little teeny garden, and I could rake the lines with my finger - I might stand a chance at a circle, maybe two.  The parallel lines though?  Standing, with a rake though?  Hah!  With the Zen mind?!  No way, Jose.  Velly implessive.

I can see why you chose that focal point, in terms of the design.  I’m left wondering why you caught it that way in regards to the Zen.  Not being critical.  Being curious if Zen played a factor in the capture.

  • I love that quote!!!

  • great quote.

    love you…

Lost is a great tv show… I’m not a big fan of tv.. but I was glued to my tv set watching this series.   Why is it that all of them are so beautiful too???  Josh Holloway (Sawyer)—sweet Jesus thank you for making that man… but my favorite has to be Daniel Dae Kim (Jin)-.. so perfect.. almost as if someone drew a picture of perfection and brought him to life…. (sigh)… I love the whole cast.. I love the show… definitely my favorite.. I cannot wait until the 21st… Bring on Season 2!!

So in the same way, we use these sort of images to try and make sense of the world, and we at present are living under the influence of two very powerful images, which are, in the present state of scientific knowledge, inadequate, and one of the major problems today are to find an adequate, satisfying image of the world.
