Correction – Jellyfish NOT squids! at Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific (click to enlarge)
All things change, nothing is extinguished. There is nothing in the whole world which is permanent. Everything flows onward; all things are brought into being with a changing nature; the ages themselves glide by in constant movement. Ovid

I love this profile shot.
Um, look like jellyfish to me. But they ARE facinating, aren’t they? I use to catch the baby ones at San Luis Pass once in a while and watch them in a jar for a while. Then they slipped away as I poured them back to their home.
Naturally, I am saving this.

I love how your mom just corrected you!
For Child_of_tree: That’s what Mommas are for, is it not? I almost let it slip by, but decided it was for her own good.
Can you tell I love her very much?

I used to stand in front of the Jelly Fish tanks for hours… they are so delicate and you captured them wonderfully.

If you go to visit mom one day, and pass through DFW… sharing a cup of coffee with you would me a moment I would most enjoy.

oh, I’m SO glad they were in a tank! I’m afraid of jellyfish. But it’s a beautiful picture.
Amazing photograph Molly! I also see this has been featured on the VO. Congrats! I was a charter member of the LB aquarium and I loved visiting. My wife and I used to go there all the time. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I love this photograph.
