Interesting… is the tree painted on the wall or is there paint on the tree? (or am I just out of it) -Isaiah
love that
bee you t ful
btw: Ram Dass was my guru many moons ago.
ryc: I’ve always heard (okay, so Martha Stewart told me) that if you have a candle lit on the counter before you start cutting onions that it will burn up some of the chemical that causes the crying. It really seems to help, but only if I remember to light it before I start cutting.
Holy moly…I mean moldy… Great pic.
I see so many fabulous worlds in that tree – if it a tree, some type of palm maybe – I could look it it for hours. Against the blinds is very striking compositionally. Almost jarring. But guarantees that I won’t forget the image, those dipping horizontal lines won’t let me. And, as ever, the Dyer quote is perfect. I could create and recreate worlds in those patterns all night… xo
I see you are quoting your favorite guy again. I consider him very cool. Cheers
lovely :>)
that is very true. if you smile you can change your attitude in a second.
what a splendid image, intoxicating. thanks, april
Oh, I’ve read this by Wayne Dyer…he is such a comfort for me. I have his Power of Intention book and cd’s and the meditation cd as well as the videos. I got the “whole enchilada” from Public Television…your work is always both intruiging and real, a combination I love. ~jess
to both the saying and the picture.
So very true.
I agree..
What a beautiful site you have. So gifted. The picture of the tree from a few days back just stopped me in my tracks. thank you.

I like what you capture…significance arises spontaneously but you have to be very quick to catch it
Like a paint brush from heaven…huggs…Sassy
Venetian blinds but is that a tree?
love it.
love the lines behind and in the forground.
love that quote
Thank you.
Regarding your entry, I find your photograph touches me more than the quote does. I do not know why, but it seems to have a harsh yet serene thing about it. You took your photograph so well that it took me as well
P.S. I hope you do not mind.. I subscribed.
I hear that Nikon 8800 is a super nice camera. I like my Drebel just fine, but I would love to upgrade to the Canon 20D one of these days. But there’s no way I can justify that kind of expense when I have a perfectly good camera now. Somehow my DH just doesn’t see it the same way I do
There is so much of you within, so we absolutely crave to see more of you here! I adore and find so earthy, so warm, so clear, what you tell us through all that you present here. Thank you so much for sharing. It is truly an honor. ~jessica
Venetian blind or vinyl siding? Painted tree or ? Ah, the sweet mysteries of life. :sunny::sunny::spinning:
man i ‘ve missed you ~ jack

At first glance I thought I was looking at landscape scene through a break a fence. That is really a fascinating image. Great work!
